What is Securo Finance?
Securo Finance is a decentralized finance “DeFi” platform that helps crypto investors to invest into risk-adjusted DeFi indices.
While decentralized finance “DeFi” investment has been a big hype around the world and a total of $200b was invested in May 2022, there have always been 3 different problems that make difficult for people to invest in DeFi: complexity of composable and risk-adjusted investment strategies, high expertise technical know-how required to develop smart contracts, ever-changing compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Securo Finance aims to solve these problems by building an easy-to-use DeFi indices and all-in-one dashboard.
In addition, Securo is building the foundation for DeFi, infrastructure, application programmable interface “API” and 3rd party integration solutions with custodial, KYC/KYB and fiat-to-crypto on-ramps.

What are the products of Securo Finance?
There are 3 crypto indices on Securo Finance:
- Market Weighted Index (MWI)
- Blockchain Network Index (BNI)
- Low-risk Crypto Index (LCI)
Market Weighted Index(MWI) is a tokenised crypto index fund on Avalanche network, which tracks major crypto assets, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Avalanche and USDT according to market dominance.
Blockchain Network Index(BNI) is a tokenised crypto index fund on Avalanche network, which tracks major Layer 1 Blockchain Network utility tokens, such as AVAX(Avalanche), MATIC(Polygon), and WNEAR(Aurora).
Low-risk Crypto Index(LCI) is a tokenised crypto index fund on Binance Smart Chain Network, which tracks major stablecoins, such as USDC, USDT, and BUSD.
How does Securo Index Fund work?
Crypto index fund is similar to indices, essentially based on a preset basket of assets or index that is designed to track underlying assets. Securo Index Fund are, in large, the same. The major differences between index fund in traditional finance and in Securo are;
- Designed specifically for crypto/DeFi investment,
- Additional profit through auto-compounding yield.
The general process of Securo Index Fund is as follows:
- Users deposit their funds in the Securo Index Fund.
- Smart contract buys the assets allocated to the index fund on DeFi platforms.
- Securo Finance mints the index token dedicated to the index fund.
- Rewards from DeFi platforms are reinvested into the yield farming pools.
- Whenever users want to withdraw funds, Securo Finance burns the index tokens and sells all the positions in the index fund.
There are different perks to each index fund, but the fundamentals are the same: diversification of your portfolio with different risk assets in cryptocurrency.
Securo Index Funds are designed to give our users exposure to diversified crypto assets, utilizing various DeFi platforms.
